This was an unforgettable experience. The scenery was amazing, the local team was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and while the conditions were rugged, they were under the circumstances much more comfortable than expected. We also had beautiful sunshine, and we adapted fairly well to the -26°C temperature.

Thank you Carolin for the wonderful arrangement and patient replies to my questions throughout the planning of the trip. Even with the flight delays, useful and important information were given to us to ensure we go through the trip well. I like how all the information is given in the app and that Helle is contactable when we need her help.

We are so happy with our trip to Greenland. This was such a special and emotional trip for us. My grandpa lived in Greenland for 18 months during WWII so this was very special. Nicole has helped me plan this trip for over a year due to COVID and rescheduling with me and my husband working in the medical field. We always travel on our own and this was our first time using a travel company. We really enjoyed the fact we had an itinerary but it was all on your own time as well. We enjoyed walking in town and exploring restaurants and trails. Every day there was something new to see. We enjoyed the walk to top of the blue trail in the ice fjord and just sitting and listening to the silence. It brought us to tears to know we finally were in Greenland and able to experience such a special place. Thank you for making this trip possible and for allowing us to see a part of the world that is so sacred and special. We already know one day we will return. Nothing is like Greenland and I don't think people can understand it until they experience it for themselves. Thank you for EVERYTHING!!!! :)

Der Urlaub auf Grönland war sehr beeindruckend. Es waren wunderbare Erlebnisse und sind immer noch wahnsinnige Natureindrücke, die wir mit nach Hause genommen haben. Auf diesem Wege möchten wir uns für die super Organisation, sowohl vor und während des Urlaubes herzlich bedanken. Es hat alles perfekt geklappt. Auch die App ist richtig prima. Unsere Grönlandrundreise war rundum perfekt organisiert - auf wetterbedingte Einflüße wurde schnell und gut reagiert und für einen super Ersatz gesorgt. Es hat alles genial geklappt - die Hotels waren sauber - das Essen war sehr lecker - Es war ein unvergesslicher Urlaub mit fantastischen Eindrücken - die Natur dort ist überwältigend schön. I was working with another travel agent through Copenhagen, but when I explored the possibility of going through Iceland I found your organization. Truly though we have only dealt through email you were more friendly, helpful and prompt at answering questions. Felt like I had a friend planning my trip.

Es waren großartige, unvergessliche Tage in Grönland. Die Touren mit Schlittenhunden, Boot, Skibob und zu Fuß haben tiefsitzende Erinnerungen geprägt. Die Vorbesprechungen mit Nicole und Asta waren äußerst hilfreich und haben die Vorfreude gesteigert. Unübertroffen gut war die Hilfe durch Henry und Nicole zum Ende unserer Reise: aufgrund technischer Probleme und wegen eines Sturms wurde unser Rückflug von Ilulissat zum internationalen Flughafen zweimal abgesagt. Wir wurden im Arctic Hotel untergebracht. Über die Notfallnummer hatten wir sofort telefonischen Kontakt zu Greenland Tours und haben abgesprochen, wie wir uns am besten verhalten. Während wir vor Ort am Flughafen waren, hat Henry in mehreren Telefonkontakten die Situation eingeschätzt und schließlich eine Umbuchung auf den nächsten Flug nach Island vorgenommen. Wir sind auf dem bestmöglichen Weg rechtzeitig nach Hause gekommen.

Hallo Henry, ich möchte nun endlich einmal DANKE sagen für die super Organisation und die nette Kommunikation im Zusammenhang mit unserer Reise, die wirklich wunderschön war! Dass der Teil mit der Oqaatsut-Siedlung nicht stattfinden konnte, weil die Strecke nicht passierbar war, war zwar schade, wir sind aber mit unserer Tour in die einsame Hütte mehr als entschädigt worden. Unsere Guides Mats und Karen sind wunderbare Menschen, mit denen wir eine unvergessliche Zeit dort hatten. Und wir hatten zwei klare Nordlicht-Nächte, die ihrergleichen suchen. Es war nicht das erste Mal, dass wir die Aurora gesehen haben, aber dies war eine wahre Teilchen-Explosion! Ich denke, so wie es gelaufen ist, war es genau richtig. Und wenn wir noch einmal nach Grönland kommen, buchen wir auf alle Fälle wieder über Euch!

With all the constant changes and uncertainty, Nicole was nothing short of amazing guiding us through and advising us of everything we needed to know. The accommodations and tours were of the best quality I think we could have had so there is no negatives at all for this experience 10/10.

Our winter adventure dreams were made into reality through Greenland Tours. All details were planned to perfection which took the stresses away from international travel. This was especially true when our flight was canceled due to adverse weather conditions, Henry and his team organised the subsequent flights and hotel arrangements on our behalf whilst we were still enjoying the view of the passing Icebergs :)

This was the best trip I have been on in 35 years of travelling. I can't fault a single thing. Greenland Tours were very easy to deal with. Questions were answered efficiently by Anna and her team throughout the booking process. The tour that was put together for us was fantastic. It gave us good coverage of Greenland and we enjoyed lots of different experiences. Everything went perfectly. All companies that ran the excursions on the ground were professional. Transport transfers were on time and comfortable. Hostels were clean and in a good location. I would definitely book through Greenland Tours if I ever returned to Greenland.

Beau voyage au Groenland en aout 2019, bien organisé. Agence sérieuse et de confiance, qui communique bien, par exemple pour d'éventuels changements d'horaires (y compris par téléphone sur place quand nous ne lisons pas le mail…). Nous regrettons de ne pas etre resté une journée supplémentaire. Nous recommandons sans problème ce voyage avec cette agence, qui est francophone.

Very spectacular trip, the guide Jean-David managed the trekking and cooking very well (earning his lunchtime naps!). The walking was tougher than suggested by just distance and height (a lot of rock-hopping or untracked sections), but was very enjoyable, led at a comfortable pace and highly recommended to those with trekking experience interested in visiting this relatively unknown area.

We are very happy with all arrangements that are transportation, accommodation chosen and all activities. All providers in Greenland are helpful and friendly. Sales team to help us for our tour are very professional and provide valuable materials for the entire trip.

Le GROENLAND est le cent vingt-troisième pays que j'ai visité et je vous ai trouvé EXCEPTIONNELLES vu le mélange de gentillesse et de professionnalisme dont vous avez fait preuve surtout après l'histoire du retour décalé à cause du mauvais temps . A ce propos , puisqu'il s'agit avant tout de voir des paysages , il a fait très beau là où c'était le plus intéressant , à Narsaq et surtout 3 jours sans un nuage à Ilulissat ! Plus une mer d'huile pendant les 4 jours en bateau !

For me the dog sled experience in East Greenland was an outer body experience... awesome and different from any other trip i've had. The mushers and the lovely and fantastic Line were just super. Hope to come back again.

We are so grateful we got to visit Greenland! What we saw was absolutely stunning! The locals we met were incredible humble, gentle people and we would have loved to meet with more locals! Hotel Arctic is a fabulous hotel, with everything we needed, a great location & great viewing for Northern Lights! The tour to point 660 was incredible, in fact every tour we did, every sight we saw put a lump in my throat and brought me to the verge of tears.. Greenland is THAT beautiful! I would love to return one day, I’d endeavour to meet more locals and see some of eastern Greenland! Thank you so much for organising an amazing trip for us!

Overall the trip was impressively well organised, especially given the remoteness of some locations. The food was excellent and plentiful. The group leader Antonio was amazing and took everyone needs into account when organising activities. The kayaking was majestic, the glacier walk was spectacular, and Greenland in general was awe inspiring. Everyday on this trip was better and more unbelievable than the day before. Don't forget the icebergs, so many icebergs.

It was just amazing! I want to go back as soon as possible! The best experience I ever had.

Loved the little boat trips between locations. Hotel Qaqortoq was beautiful and friendly. Igaliku was a fantastic location and venue. Sarfaq Ittuk ferry was a wonderful way to travel. Eqi glacier boat trip was a highlight. Thank you for organising it all - everything went well.

This is probably my favorite destination I've ever been to. I combined the Ilulissat area tour, ice cap, and 12 days alpine east and felt this was the perfect combination to see the best of Greenland. I'll never ever forget this trip!

Der Norden gefällt mir allgemein zum Reisen. Das erste Mal auf Grönland und bin sehr begeistert. In Ilulissat oder auf der Disko Insel die Eisberge zu sehen, macht die Differenz aus, zu anderen Destinationen. Wandern oder einen Ausflug auf dem Schiff. Abwechslung, gutes Essen und sehr freundliche Leute. Nicht vergessen, Sonnencreme, Sonnenbrille und vor allem Antimücken Spray super forte. Die Reise wurde von Greenland Tours gestaltet. Alles hat funktioniert, perfekt. So sollte es immer sein. Vielen Dank.

Grönland ist wunderschön und defintiv eine Reise wert. Leider hat das Wetter nicht ganz mitgespielt, was für uns auch Flug- und Fährausfälle bedeutete. C’était fabuleux. On a eu du soleil et une bonne visibilité tous les jours. L’accueil dans tous les hébergements a été sympathique. La chambre à Ilulissat était très sympa avec une vue magnifique sur les icebergs. La distance pour atteindre le centre n’est pas un souci. Les excursions en bateau ont été une découverte totale de ce milieu. L’île de disco est une étape très dépaysante. La balade de 5 h est géniale.

We had really a great time in Greenland. We saw the most beautiful iceberg. The hikes to the Icefjord and at Disko Island were perfect, we have seen so much. After a slow start because of the bad weather we have also seen the midnight sun and the lovely blue sky. And everyday we saw the humpbacks swimming and feeding. Marvelous!!!!!!!!! And we saw the finwhales. During whale watching at Disko we were so close near the humpbacks we could almost “touch” them. Also they had calves with them. You really can see them as well from the coastline. And also we saw a great collapse from a iceberg when we were at the beach at Disko Island. What a beautiful nature you have!

Hotels All the accommodations were nice. Very clean and the breakfasts were fine. All the people at the hotels, excursion (guides) on boats were very kind and helpful. We will never forget this holiday. Thank you for arranging this wonderful tour.

Grönland ist schon mal sehr beeindruckend. Die Organisation vor der Reise und Kontakt war perfekt. Die Tour mit dem Kajak war großartig, der guide aus Spanien, leider habe ich seinen Namen vergessen, war sehr professionell, wir hatten großen Spaß, vielen Dank nochmal! Der Flughafen ist zwar nur 3 km von Ilulissat entfernt, aber eine Abholung von dort zum Hostel wäre auch schön gewesen. Sollte man optional noch anbieten. Die Reise war ganz große Klasse, eine meiner besten Unternehmungen! Es war einfach der Hammer!

It was a wonderful trip, everything I hoped. When there was trouble with a flight because of weather Asta was very helpful. I would definitely use Greenland Tours when coming back to Greenland and am recommending them to my friends.

Das Wetter hat bei unserer Reise leider nicht mitgespielt. Die gebuchte Fahrt um die Insel konnte wegen dem Packeis, dass die Mündung des Fjordes komplett verschlossen hatte, nicht durchgeführt werden. Aber das Wetter kann man halt nicht bestellen. Der Tourguide hat eine super Alternativtour durchgeführt, auf der wir sehr viel über das Leben in Grönland erfahren haben. Er hat das perfekt und abwechslungsreich organisiert. Hut ab für diese Improvisation. Das Hotel Angmagssalik in Tasiilaq war sehr gut. Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt. Auch das Essen im Hotel war gut. Der Ausblick auf Tasiilaq und den Fjord ist unvergleichlich schön. Im Hotel Angmagssalik würden wir sofort wieder ein Zimmer buchen. Die Organisation der Reise durch Greenland Tours war sehr gut. Wir können Greenland Tours ohne Vorbehalt empfehlen.

The trip has been a huge success! The locations, hotels and people exceeded my expectations. And we have enjoyed hiking, and cruising to photo the icebergs. Our last cruise is this morning in the early fog. Thanks for everything, this has been a wonderful trip!

Henry was a delight to deal with - even when we received bad news that our helicopter wasn't flying that day due to technical difficulties he did his utmost to look after us by organising accommodation if we had to stay and flying us out in another helicopter. Tout était vraiment au top, les expériences variées et rythmées. Un Camp Ice Cap vraiment incroyable, des rencontres émouvantes avec les baleines au soleil couchant au milieu du icefjord d'Ilulissat, une magnifique randonnée jusqu'au glacier Lyngmark sur Disko Island avec en "bruit de fond" le souffle des baleines dans la baie, le glacier Eqi tout simplement à couper le souffle... la liste est longue ! :- ) Et un soleil radieux sur tout le séjour.

Bref, c'était vraiment parfait, un séjour magique. Nous sommes très heureux d'avoir suivi votre itinéraire, et sommes conscients d'être des privilégiés en ayant réalisé un tel périple...

Henry responded to our email requests brilliantly, taking into account the priorities we had, planning in great detail a wonderful tour to gorgeous places and smoothly adjusting the proposed tour as we responded to his emails. ‘Free’ days were included in the itinerary in just the right places.

The system of emailing us with vouchers for every transaction worked brilliantly so that we knew exactly what was included, what to do (e.g. wait for transport, walk to nearby hotel), where to go and who to contact.
